BercyIf you search on Google and type Bercy, you will not necessarily find what you are looking for, at least not if you are looking for information on the concert venue named Bercy. The reason is simple, as the official name of the concert venue is not Bercy, but Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.

Bercy is in fact the name of an area in Paris, France, in the 12th district. The nearest metrostation to the concert venue is named the same as the nickname of the concert venue, Bercy. The venue was finished in 1984 and it is an indoor arena often used for popular and hot events like concerts, sport events such as tennis, basketball, boxing, cycling and other sports. Depending on the event somewhere between 7000 and 17000 people can be seated in Bercy, this very interesting looking venue designed by three architects; Andrault-Parat, Prouvé and Guvan. The special design can easily be recognizes because of its pyramidal shape and the walls are covered with sloping lawn.

This arena can be compared to the O2 Arena in Prague, the Sportarena in Budapest or maybe the O2 Arena in London.
