We do not know to much about him, but he is a good adult who has reached an age of 40 by the time he carries the flag onto the arena for the Opening Ceremony in Sochi. He won an Olympics gold back in 2002 and then also in 2006.
His name is Armin Zoeggeler and he will perfom on February 9th, 11th, 12th and 13th (maybe not on all days, but those are the days at which there will be luge competitions during the Winter Olympics 2014 in Sochi).
